Steve Zupin II

LCSW

Steve Zupin II is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). He has dedicated over 18 years working in the social services field. He has a wide range of experience from working with juveniles involved in criminal activity, people experiencing homelessness, and mental illness. Steve holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University. 

Anisia Kennedy

Resident Services Coordinator

Anisia Kennedy has 18 years of experience in the Social Service field with 12 of those years working with Holsten Human Capital Development with a focus on helping residents with the services they need to lead to self-sufficiency. Ms. Kennedy has a great relationship with the youth all while teaching and preparing them to become productive young adults.

Colleen Broderick

Resident Services Coordinator

Colleen Broderick joined HHCD in December 2017, as a Resident Service Coordinator. She brings with her a background in Education, specifically, working with students and families experiencing homelessness. She enjoys working with her clients, especially running the Women’s Empowerment Group at Lawson. In her spare time,she enjoys reading, music and spending time with family and friends..

Sharon Wilson

Executive Assistant

Sharon Wilson is Executive Assistant to the Executive Director and Board Chair, and serves as the Bookkeeper for the organization.

She has been on the HHCD team since its inception in 2000, aiding in its reporting and day to day activities.

With more than 30 plus years of experience in accounting and administrative duties, Sharon provides input on many levels to the team and the Executive Director.

Kenya Taylor

Program Manager

Kenya Taylor is our Program Manager at Lawson. Miss Taylor has 15 years’ experience in the social service sector. Miss Taylor holds a Master’s degree in Social Work.

Trina Hill

Resident Services Coordinator

Trina Hill is our Resident Service Coordinator at Parkside. Mrs. Hill has 17 years of experience in the addictions and social service field. Mrs. Hill holds a Masters of Social Work (MSW) and is a Certified Addictions Counselor (CADC).

Elizabeth Protich

Program Manager

Ms. Protich has over 30 years of experience in the educational, social service and workforce development fields. Working in Educational Institutions and Non-for-Profit Agencies with an emphasis on GED attainment, workforce skills/placement and re-entry programming for returning citizens.

Fitz Miller

Resident Services Coordinator

Fitz Joined HHCD in 2019 and has immersed himself in the Holsten culture at our west and southside sites, engaging the residents and meeting them where they are, to help encourage them to make “self-sufficiency” their personal goal and not a barrier. His expertise in IT and supervisory skills from industry and the armed forces, gives him the tools needed to embrace the challenges of his client base and to gain their trust.

What We Do

HHCD lives its mission by providing workforce development programs for job seekers and employers, and comprehensive resident services for families, youth, seniors and homeless at-risk individuals to maintain stable, independent and healthy lifestyles; and by collaborating with partners to build strong communities.
