HHCD lives its mission by providing workforce development programs for job seekers and employers, and comprehensive resident services for families, youth, seniors and homeless at-risk individuals to maintain stable, independent and healthy lifestyles; and by collaborating with partners to build strong communities.

HHCD was awarded by the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) to provide comprehensive case management, employment services, youth empowerment services, housing stability, and clinical and wellness programs to CHA residents in the Near North community (former Cabrini neighborhood).

The FamilyWorks program provides targeted services to residents living within the area’s traditional family housing, scattered sites, and mixed-income developments.
